The Vancouver Real Estate Board reported a 5.9% decline from November 2010 in total sales but a 1.9% increase over October figures.

Squamish saw 20 detached home sales, 6 attached, and 3 apartment sales in the month of November 2011.

 The average detached home sale price was 536,000 based on these 20 sales reported.

The year to date average sale prices for Squamish are detached home $485,000, attached home $355,000, and apartment home at $232,000.Comparing these figures from 2010 figures for the same period - average detached home sale price remains fairly constant while decreased values are shown in the average attached and apartment segments.

The Benchmark price for detached home in Squamish is reported at $530,896.,three month benchmark av. as $492,615.

The sales activity summary shows detached home sales over the past 3 months increased 47% over the same 3 months in 2010., attached home sales dropped 14.3% year over year., and apartment sales dropped 58.3%.
